Filer represents an alternative to display and manage files stored on your Topfield PVR offering enhanced functionality compared to the original file list.

For example these functions are in Filer:

• Recycle Bin: Instead of immediate deletion both files and folders can be moved into a virtual recycle bin. From here items can either be restored or deleted finally.
• Capability To Display All Files: Filer is not limited to standard file types like recordings or TAP files but allows to display and manage (rename, move, delete) all kind of files stored on hard disk.
• Watch Status For Recordings: For each recording Filer displays whether it has been watched fully or partially. The parts recordings have been watched are displayed in separate progress bars.
• Various Colour Settings: Currently one of four pre-defined colour settings (blue, green, red, grey) can be selected.
• Fast Decryption (FastCopy): Decryption of a file by pushing just one button.
• Sorting: Filer offers further criteria to sort the file list incl. ascending/descending sorting.
